Long-time
East County high school coach STEVE PERDUE
tells it like it is in the pages of his
new book,
"PARENTAL EGO AND THE HIGH SCHOOL &
YOUTH ATHLETE"
(Published by Xlibris)
Description:
Perdue: "This book was written
in hopes of influencing helicoptoring parents
to see the light. If you think this book
is not about you and your actions, you are
totally wrong. Its about all of us.
Yes, the truth hurts. But morals and values
need again to come to the forefront of things,
not only in high school sports, but in our
country as a whole. This book gives parents
and student athletes insight on the many
things experienced from a coaching veterans
perspective. Hopefully, after reading this
book, parents will apply some of the basic
principles to make their childs high
school experience a pleasant one."
