Miller score 97 points over four tournament contests
in Las Vegas, registering a double-double in each
outing. Against LV -Faith Lutheran, he just missed
a triple-double with 32 points 13 boards and 8
assists.

The Braves remain over .500 for the season,
with Robinson scoring in double figures in three
victories last week. Included was a 16-point 13-rebound
effort vs. Valhalla. Her high game was 17 points
against San Ysidro.

El Capitan
Cook burned the St. Augustine secondary for three
touchdowns each against a different defender
finishing with nine catches for 204 yards
in the CIF Division III playoff contest. The touchdowns
covered 26, 25 and 57 yards. |
LEVINE TOILOLO, LB/TE,
Helix
Toilolo registered both key plays down the stretch
on offense and defense. After he was interferred
with on a pass play, the yardge placed Helix in
position for the go-ahead field goal. He then helped
record a GW goaline stand tackle. |
TRELAN TAYLOR, DB/WR,
Helix
Taylor, a two-way performer, posted one of three
interceptions by the Scotties and was one of the
leading tacklers. He also finished with two receptions
for 56 yards in the CIF Division II championship
game against Oceanside. |

Santana
Breidt threw for 185 yards and two touchdown,
including the game-winning strike to Travis Reynolds
with 50 seconds remaining to help upend El Cajon
Valley, 33-26. He also rushed 10 times for 31 yards.

GARRET CAMPBELL, QB,
Foothills Christian
Campbell led the Knights to their first-ever league
title with 331 all-purpose yards. He forced a fumble
which led to the game-winning drive, kicking a field
goal on the game's final play for the victory. |
TANNER RUST, QB
El Capitan
Rust tossed four touchdowns to lead the Vaqueros
to a 41-22 CIF Division III playoff victory over
Brawley. Two of his touchdowns were of 40 yards
to Phillip Cook; two others went to Jon Molzen. |

Hunter established school records for rushing
yards (338), points scored (38) and touchdowns
(6) in leading the Matadors past host Granite
Hills, 49-35. His point total is the 2nd-most
in Grossmont Conference history.

THOMPSON, RB,
Christian
Thompson took over the scoring lead (120 points)
in East County after scoring 5 more touchdowns in
the Patriots' 45-21 triumph over Santa Fe Christian.
The senior rushed for 150 yards; the Pats have won
22-of-23 ballgames. |

FONSECA, RB,
West Hills
Fonseca, a senior, posted an all-around effort in
both rushing and receiving, gaining 202 yards and
scoring 3 TDs on the ground, while making 7 catches
for 128 yards a total offense accumulation
of 330 yards. |

AARON HARRIS, RB,
Granite Hills
Harris rushed for 303 yards and 6 TDs to paced
the Eagles past visiting Orange Glen, 42-21. Included
were 262 yards and 5 TDs in the first half. The
303 yards were the second-most in school history;
the 6 TDs were the second-most in both CIFSDS
and conference history. Included was a 96-yard
romp.

Valhalla
Thomas, the Norsemen junior quarterback, completed
26-of-33 passes for 323 yards and three touchdowns,
leading the visiting Norsemen to a 34-0 blanking
of Grossmont at Lt. Thomas M. Adams Field.

JERRAD SCOTT, DB,
Monte Vista
Scott, a senior defensive back, returned an interception
51 yards for the decisive points, and was among
the leading tacklers, pacing Monte Vista past
West Hills, 20-14, for a homecoming victory at
Monarchs Stadium.

El Capitan
The senior intercepted 3 passes, returning one
37 yards for the victory-clinching touchdown,
in a 24-0 pasting of host Morse. Solis' three
thefts was one short of the school record.

DESEAN WATERS, RB,
Grossmont
Waters rushed for 160 yards on 18 carries in his
second varsity start, lifting the Foothillers
over Montgomery, 34-6. Included was a 72-yard
TD run on the team's first play from scrimmage.

ALEX PERLIN, RB,
Steele Canyon
Perlin established a Cougars single-game record
with 309 rushing yards, scoring three times on
32 carries to propel Steele Canyon past Grossmont.
