DENVER –‘ On a milestone night in the Rocky Mountains, San Diego Seals veteran Dane Dobbie collected his 1,000th career point, leading the first-place Seals to a 13-9 victory over the Colorado Mammoth, Saturday (Jan. 28) at Ball Arena.
“It was a special night for Dane,” said Seals general manager and head coach Patrick Merrill. “We’re glad to be back in the win column, Chris [Origlieri] was solid between the pipes, our defense was strong. We put together a solid 60 minutes tonight.”
Dobbie, a forward, notched four goals and six points in his historic game. Forward Wesley Berg led the offense with seven points while forward Curtis Dickson continued to stay hot with a hat trick in the game. Goalie Chris Origlieri made 37 sa to earn his second win of the season.
The Seals (5-1) return home on Saturday, Fwb. 4 to host the Panther City Lacrosse Club at Pechanga Arena.
