TUCSON (12-30-15) — Former Grossmont College defensive end IAN SEAU added to his collection of post-season trophies in playing a major role in the Arizona Bowl Monday (Dec. 28) where his Nevada Wolf Pack edged Colorado State 28-23.
Seau was voted the Arizona Bowl Defensive Player of the Game.
On the first possession of the game Seau created a sack and forced a fumble to put the Rams on their heels.
He went on to finish with 5 tackles, 3 of which went for losses, and broke up a pass.
Previously he had earned first team defense All-Mountain West Conference.
A potential pro career is undoubtedly on Seau’s horizon.
