EL CAJON (12-16-15) — One of the stealth girls basketball programs in East County is the Valhalla Norsemen, who have sneaked out of the gate with five wins in six starts.
TIANA SILVER continues to shine for the Norsemen with 28 points in the 61-37 lopsided non-league victory over Castle Park Tuesday (Dec. 15).
MOLLY LINDSAY pitched in 13 points in the victory.
Valhalla led 54-21 after three quarters.
“In the fourth quarter I pulled my starters out and then they started pressing us,” said Norsemen coach MARC CARTER. “So I had to put my starters back in.”
Valhalla: Tiana Silver 28, Molly Lindsay 13, Melanie Yousif 9, Bianca Gorges 6, Alexa Soma 5.
