Hla of the 8 hits by Foothills Christian went for extra bases, including triples from Billy Temple and Dustin “Dusty” Bakers, plus doubles by Colby Johnson and John Popka.
Johnson kled the way in run production, finishing with three RBI, two coming on a fourth-inning double for a 5-0 lead.
The Knights scored three times in the second and fourth for a 6-0 lead, then buried the Eagles with a 9-run rally in the sixth.
Tri-City Christian, which was held to one hits through six frames, finally hit the board in the seventh in three straight singles, then a pair of ground balls to the right side to allow runners from third base to score each time.
