HELIX 42, WEST HILLS 39 (OT) – The Helix Lady Highlanders won a close battle with the Wolf Pack on Friday night in La Mesa.
Helix rallied in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime.
Helix outscored West Hills 7-4 in the extra session.
Senior Delina Yetbarek led the Highlanders with 11 points, including three three-pointers in the game.
Senior Serena Soloman contributed eight points for Helix.
The Highlanders had nine players score in the contest.
The game was tied at 19-all at halftime.
STEELE CANYON 31, GRANITE HILLS 23 – At Steele Canyon, the Cougars led 22-15 in the second half and went on to pick up their third win of the season.
The Cougars improved to 2-3 in Grossmont Valley League play.
SANTANA 44, EL CAJON VALLEY 29 – The Sultans picked up a Grossmont Valley League win at home against the Braves.
Santana improved to 2-3 in league play.
Senior Silvia Aboud had 10 points for El Cajon Valley.
GROSSMONT def. VALHALLA – The Foothillers reportedly won their game with the Lady Norsemen by a comfortable margin on Friday night.
