Hawks’ Suarez, Henrique, Saliba named to All-GSAC Team

SANTEE – MON, NOV. 2, 2015 – Pedro Henrique, Alex Saliba, and Borja Suarez were named to the All-GSAC Team presented by Under Armour announced by the conference on Monday.
The trio was among 21 others that were selected for the prestigious honor.
Henrique, who leads the GSAC with 13 goals, was named to the All-GSAC for the second consecutive year. He also leads the conference in shots (69) and is tied in game-winning goals with four. Henrique also is tied for the lead on the team with five assists with fellow All-GSAC Team member Suarez.
Suarez, second in GSAC with 12 goals, was named to the All-GSAC for the first time. The junior midfielder is second on the team with 29 points (12 goals, 5 assists).
Saliba followed the two with six goals and tied with five assists. He scored the lone goal against San Diego State in an exhibition to tie the game at the time.
The trio will look to guide the Hawks to get back to a GSAC Championship game for the first time since 2012. First in their way is The Master’s College in the opening round. Kickoff is scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. in Santa Clarita.
