ST. AUGUSTINE 75, FOOTHILLS CHRISTIAN 61 – Chibuzo Agbo had 37 points, 13 rebounds and four assists to lead the No. 1-ranked Saints to the win over the third-ranked Knights with a big second half.
Jaden Lebel and Derrien Carter-Hollinger each had 16 for Foothills Christian.
Carter-Hollinger had five quick points in the third quarter as Foothills took a 43–39 lead.
The Saints led just 37-36 at halftime, as Lebel had 12 points in the first half.
The score was tied at 29-all midway through the second period.
Agbo scored 16 points in the first quarter.
Luke Haupt added 15 points for the Saints.
GROSSMONT 69, TRI-CITY CHRISTIAN 60 – The Foothillers finished strong, taking down the Eagles with a 36-29 second half after leading by just three at halftime.
Grossmont had three three-pointers in the first half.
The Hillers knocked down three three-pointer early in the third quarter to take a 42-31 lead.
A trey in the fourth gave Grossmont a 53-48 lead but the Eagles battled back.
EASTLAKE 78, VALHALLA 42 – The Titans handed the Norsemen a loss at the Grossmont Winter Tournament at West Hills High on Monday evening.
