Hawks’ Day awarded GSAC Offensive Player of Week

SANTEE (MON, OCT. 26, 2015)– With her two goal one assist performance over Hope International on Saturday, Katherine Day has been named GSAC Offensive Player of the Week announced by the conference on Monday.
Day scored the game-winning goal against the Royals as the Hawks went 2-0 in the week to propel themselves into playoff contention.
This was Day’s seventh and eighth goal on the season, good for second on the team.
SDC will host William Jessup on Thursday before traveling to Santa Barbara in the regular season finale to take on the Warriors of Westmont.
