SAN YSIDRO – San Ysidro Cougars freshman sensation Mikey Williams scored 41 points in his high school debut on Wednesday night, leading his team past visiting El Cajon Valley, 98-46, in a non-league game.
Williams made three three-pointers while adding five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
Another Cougar freshman, Jurian Dixon, added 20 points for San Ysidro. He led the team with seven assists and five steals.
Senior Kailen Rains had 18 points for SYHS.
The Braves outscored the Cougars, 14-4, in the fourth period.
