Eidsvoll 1814s fall to Lura Bulls in national championship

Eidsvoll, Norway (6-28-15) — Running back AARON HARRIS, a Granite Hills High-Southwestern College alum, is making a powerful impact on the football field overseas.
Harris plays pro football in Norway for Eidsvoll 1814s, which won the regular season championship.
Harris’ first playoff game was this weekend against Nidaros Domers, whom they defeated 59-6. The Eidsvoll 1814s lost to the Lura Bulls for the Norwegian Championship on Sunday (July 5).
In a regular season game two weeks ago against the Nidaros Domers, which the 1814s won 79-12, Harris ran for 304 yards on 13 carries, scoring 7 touchdowns. Stats for the semifinal game were not available, but Harris scored two touchdowns in the championship game, although the 1814s led at halftime. The 1814s lost only one game during the regular season, which was a 27-26 decision to the Lura Bulls.
Harris was ticketed to attend the University of Cincinnati, but the Bearcats’ Coach Jones, who had recruited him, left for Tennessee and the school would not let Harris out of his Letter of Intent. Harris decided to play D2 at West Texas A&M for two years.
His agent told Harris about a chance to play in Norway and that the head coach had ties to the Canadian Football League and the NFL. So far, so good. Harris is having a stellar year with the Eidsvoll 1814s.
The Eidsvoll 1814s are an American football team team based in Eidsvoll, Norway. They are currently members of the Norway American Football Federation (NoAFF). Their name is taken from the signing of the Constitution of Norway at Eidsvoll in 1814.
