SANTEE (12-22- 2017) – Talk about going into the Christmas break on a high note, or high flying?
West Hills, now 6-4, came out victorious over visiting Victory Christian, 84-56, on Friday.
Not only were the Wolf Pack victorious with the win, senior CAM BARRY set two Pack records, scoring 54 points and hitting 10 – that is correct 10 – 3-pointers from behind the arc, and 12 grabbed rebounds to boot.
The contest remained pretty competitive as they reached intermission, 36-24, Wolf Pack.
West Hills took full control of the court in the 3rd quarter, putting up 32 points to 22 for the Knights.
West Hills has definitely solidified themselves as one of the elite, they started the season 0-3 and have since won 6 of their last 7 to go along with a 4-game winning streak.
Also key contributors in tonight’s team win were junior PG MICHAEL TOTAH, who had 10 points and 8 assists, and junior G ISAAC CABRAL, who canned 2 3-pointers and had 8 points.
“Great team win going into the Christmas break with a week and a half to recharge.” said TIM BARRY.
West Hills will be back in action on January 5th at Hilltop (0-7), with a 6 p.m. tip-off.
