EL CAJON (4-21-17) — Arizona State-bound ZACH HOGUEISSON launched his 9th home run of the season in the 6th inning but it wasn’t enough for Christian to overthrow Cathedral Catholic in a Western League contest on Thursday (Apr. 20) won by the Dons 5-1.
Hogueisson was 2-for-4 in the game with a run and a RBI.
“We walked two, made two errors and allowed four unearned runs,” said Patriots coach MIKE MITCHELL. “That’s how they scored four runs.
“In the 7th we loaded the bases but couldn’t come up with the big hit.”
Christian and Cathedral split their two league contests.
