CHICAGO – Foothills Christian senior JAYLEN HANDS managed a perfect score after jumping over former NCAA Player of the Year and ESPN analyst Jay Williams in the final round of the POWERADE Jam Fest dunk contest at Illinois Tech Monday night.

Hands finished as a runner-up to Alabama-bound Collin Sexton, of Pebblebrook (Mableton, Ga.) High.

The awesome jam by Hands briefly gave him the lead until Sexton pulled off his ridiculous feat.

Sexton scored 129 after his second perfect score of the night on a 360, one-handed cock-back dunk in the final round to beat out Oregon signee Troy Brown, Jr. from Centennial (Las Vegas) and Hands, a UCLA signee.

Hands reportedly excelled in the first McDonald’s All-American practice sessions earlier in the day.

The McDonald’s All-American game is scheduled for Wednesday (4 p.m. PDT) on ESPN. Joining Hands on the West squad is Cathedral Catholic 7-footer Brandon McCoy.

Another San Diego product at the event is Bishop’s Destiny Littleton. She finished in second place in the three-point shootout on Monday night and will play in the girls All-American Game at 2 p.m. PDT (ESPN).
