ESCONDIDO (1-26-17) — Sharp-shooting CAM BARRY, the No. 2 ranked scorer in East County, knocked down 25 points as the Wolf Pack tripped the Escondido Cougars 85-63 on Wednesday (Jan. 25) in North County in a non-league game.
Barry hit a pair of 3s and 5 of 6 free throws. The flashy point guard also dished 5 assists and made 3 steals.
West Hills put this game away in the third quarter with a 28-9 scoring run.
West Hills dominated in the paint as CHRIS MOYER dumped in 17 points to go along with 10 rebounds for double-double.
NATHAN BALL chipped in 17 points and MARQUELL COOL spun in 13 points and 5 rebounds to go along with 4 assists and one steal.
Ball, who punched in a trio of treys, celebrated his 18th birthday.
On the horizon is a Grossmont Hills League showdown at Helix on Friday (Jan. 27) at 7 p.m.
