2016-17 GROSSMONT COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

HEMET (1-12-17) — The Grossmont College women’s basketball team took a thud as they tumbled to powerful Mt. San Jacinto College 105-53 on Tuesday (Jan. 11) in a cross-division contest.
Freshman KYRA BRUESEWITZ led Grossmont with 19 points, while freshman SATORI ROBERSON scored 10.
KHIYA MOHAMED tossed in 9 points, BREANNA LINSON chipped in with 6 and BRITTANY GAFARE scored 4.
LYDIA HALCOTT added 2 points for the Griffins, who now stand at 2-13.
Next up, Grossmont will host San Bernardino Valley College on Friday (Jan. 13) at 5 p.m.
