SAN MARCOS (12-4-16) — The visiting Granite Hills Eagles broke into the win column as SHELBY RIPBERGER drilled in the game-winning 3-point shot with 9 seconds left, giving the Eagles a 50-48 victory over the Oceanside Pirates in the Excalibur Tournament.
ANYANG AGOTH knocked down 5 three-pointers to lead the Eagles with a 21 points.
CHASE ROBLES spun in a trio of three-pointers for 17 points, while Ripberger had 14 points on three long rangers.
KANI KUBARI was tough inside for Granite Hills, claiming 15 rebounds, 3 steals and 5 blocks.
As a team Granite Hills rolled in 11 three-pointers.
