EL CAJON (9-21-16) — Three East County baseball nuggets have landed major college scholarships.
Out of the Helix dugout comes pitcher/outfielder CONNOR KONISHI and shortstop MATTHEW RICHARDSON. The seniors have one season at Helix remaining.
Upon graduation Konishi will attend San Jose State, while Richardson is headed to Utah.
On the east side, Granite Hills outfielder/pitcher junior TREVOR HAZELHURST has committed to the University of Nevada.
