Women’s Swimming
FLETCHER HILLS – Grossmont College sophomore Camille Seiley, a product of Steele Canyon HS, is the California state leader in swimming head into the 3C2A California Championships, slated for May at Santa Rosa Junior College.
Earlier this season, Seiley dominated in meets held at Mt. San Antonio and Golden West community colleges, earning first-place awards in the 509 free and 100 free events.

Her current state-leading time is 24.09 seconds in the 50 free, while she rabks third in at 100 free at 53.52 secibds.
Also at the Golden West Invitational in Huntington Beach, Seiley was a top finished in the women’s Waterman Pentathlon, officially making her the of the contenders to beat at Santa Rosa, to be held May 1-3.
For her efforts, Seiley was one of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference’s athlete sof the month for February.
At the 2024 3C2A state meet at Orange Coast, Seiley captured the state championship in the 50, plus second in the 100, and 7th in the 200.
