Parker 0 – In the much-delayed season opener for Foothills Chridstian, Knights pitcher Emma Romeka struck out 12 Lancers in firing a 1-hit, road shutout in Linda Vista… Freshman Grace Steele registered two RBI, Kenzie Gomez smacked a triple, and three others registered doubles… Gabby Wolford scored twice despite reaching base both times without the aid of a asehit… Parker (1-2) avoided the no-hit bid on a basehit by Olivia Urso.

Grossmont 4, Scripps Ranch 3 (walk-off) – Even at 2-all, the Falcons took the lead in the seventh inningm, vbut the Foothillersd answered with a 2-spot to foil the Falcons (2-3)… Senior center fielder Nakhia Lee posted a triple and two RBI for Grossmont (1-4-1), which ended a 5-game non-winning skid,
