COLLEGE GROVE – The CIF San Diego Section announced the players selected to the 2024 all-section football team.

CIFSDS Division I champion Classical Academt swept the board by taking thropies for Offense, Defense and Coach of the year awards.

Among the four East County selections, Grossmont saw three players honored.

On first team offense was junior Gabrielle “Gabi” Thomas, the Grossmont Hills League player of the year in the same category.

Likewise, Foothillers teammate Jaelyn Jensen, Grossmont was a first team pick on defense. She also claimed GHL honors as Grossmont Conference player of the year.

Meanwhile, the Hillers’ Saraya Roope, a sophomore, was a second-team selection on defense, to be joined by Steele Canyon junior Kaliana Ewing.
