ECS staff report
FLETCHER HILLS – The opening night in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference women’s volleyball season were all 3-set blowouts — as expected.
Leading the list was defending PCAC champion Grossmont College, which took out San Diego Miramar.
Meanwhile, San Diego Mesa took down visiting Cuyamaca College.
The matches were so poor, none of the matches had boxscores reported, so no match details — besides the scores — were reported.
In the lone minor upset, Palomar went to Huntington Beach to stun host Golden West College in five sets.
