2022 EAST COUNTY PREP BOYS TRACK

CLOVIS — Results from East County schools at the 2022 California State CIF Track and Field Championships, held at Buchanan High on May 27-28.
In the team standings, the top team from the San Diego Section was the Helix boys, which finished in a mammoth 9-way tie for 13th place with 10 points.
Meanwhile, the Steele Canyon boys were along in 32nd place with 6.33 points as the second-highest team from the region including San Diego and Imperial counties.
However, one Imperial Valley school — the Imperial HS Tigers — did place,finishing in a tie for third overall in the Girls Para division.
No East County female athletes scored points in this year’s competition.
