EL CAPITAN 8, CHRISTIAN 1 – El Capitan’s BAILEY OLAVESON went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and teammate ALLYSON VONYOKES had a pair of doubles and two RBI on Thursday.

In the last of the sixth, Christian High’s AUDREY SHEBLOSKI hit a solo home run to close the lead to 4-1.
MALLORY STEELE had two hits for the Patriots.
“That is the best group of talent offensively and defensively I have ever seen El Cap have,” Christian head coach GEORGE GENTRY said. “They are good if they can keep it together.
“We only have three returning starters and one other returning player. The rest are all new. Two of the girls never had a glove or bat until two weeks ago. But we will get better, we always finish strong.”
OLYMPIAN 7, VALHALLA 1 – Senior Samantha Green singled and drove in a run for the Lady Norsemen on Wednesday.
Senior Jade Hill doubled and scored for Valhalla.
LIBERTY CHARTER 18, CALVIN CHRISTIAN 3 – On Thursday, the Lions got home runs from FAITH VIA, LILY SHALLOCK and SARAH JOHNSTON in the lopsided victory over Calvin.
