EL CAJON – The Santana Sultans outpaced the Liberty Charter Lions in an El Cajon Valley Tournament game on Saturday, 41-20, for their fourth-straight win at the event.
The Sultans, who improved to 4-8 on the season, doubled up the Lions, 8-4, over the first eight minutes.
Junior LAKAILA AGUININGOC-DAVID had 11 points for Santana, while freshman teammate BELLA TERRY had 10 points, six blocks,
Senior AALIYAH STONE had six points, seven blocks, and six rebounds for the Sultans.
EL CAJON VALLEY 40, HIGH TECH CHULA VISTA 33 – The Braves won the El Cajon Valley Tournament game over the visiting Bruins.
El Cajon Valley improved to 7-3.
OAK RIDGE 64, CHRISTIAN 34 – At the Nike Invitational in Phoenix, the Patriots were handed their first defeat at the event.
The Patriots trailed 29-14 at halftime.
SIMONE JAMES led Christian High with 13 points.
POINT LOMA 73, MONTE VISTA 41 – The Pointers defeated the Monarchs, who fell to 6-7.
EASTLAKE 53, VALHALLA 24 – The Titans won over the Lady Norsemen.
