LEMON GROVE – The Foothills Christian Knights defeated the Liberty Charter Lions, 72-14, in a matchup of East County girls teams on Thursday afternoon at Lemon Grove Recreation Center.
Foothills junior ELLIE TURK had a rare triple-double which didn’t include rebounds, scoring 27 points, recording 10 assists and making 14 steals.
Turk also had six rebounds and four blocked shots.
Sophomore ARANTXA SALDANA added 21 points nine rebounds and three blocked shots for the Knights.
Meanwhile, FCHS freshman NATALY BRAVO added 16 points.
