WEST HILLS 1, GRANITE HILLS 0 – The Wolf Pack’s BRIANNA TURSELLINO scored the goal and West Hills finished the Grossmont Hills League season undefeated at 5-0-3.
Sophomore MALIAH WIRSIG and senior JORDAN EARL assisted on the tally.
It is the second league title in three seasons for coach ROBERT ROMERO and the Wolf Pack.
West Hills also finished 5-0-3 in 2016.
The Wolf Pack is set to earn a bye in the opening round of the SDCIF Division 1 playoffs.
EL CAPITAN 3, SANTANA 0 – El Capitan won at home to finish 7-2-1 in the Grossmont Valley League, good for a third-place finish, spoiling the Sultans’ championship bid.
HELIX 12, MOUNT MIGUEL 0 – Helix led just 2-0 at intermission, then cruised home to wrap up the Grossmont Valley League championship with a 7-0-3 record.
MONTE VISTA 9, EL CAJON VALLEY 0 – Monte Vista picked up its fourth league win of the season and improved to 11-7-1 overall.
GROSSMONT 0, VALHALLA 0 – The tightly-matched teams played to a draw.
Valhalla reportedly had a few chances to score in the first half but couldn’t convert, while Grossmont was said to have had some great chances in the second half.
CHRISTIAN 1, MIRA MESA 0 – ALYSSA HEINRICH scored on an assist from JORDYN PROVIENCE, as the Patriots won the non-league contest at home.
LIBERTY CHARTER 3, BAYFRONT CHARTER 2 – The Lions completed an undefeated Patriot League championship, finishing with a 10-0-2 record.
