VALHALLA 1, STEELE CANYON 0 – Senior MADELINE HAUGEN scored on an assist from senior ASHLEY WAYMIRE and senior KATE DE WENT earned the shutout in goal as the Lady Norsemen knocked off the sixth-ranked Cougars.
In the first half, a ball was sent down the right sideline to Waymire, who then sent a great cross to Maddie Haugen, who buried it into the goal for the lead.
Valhalla earned its first league win of the season in three outings.
