CORONADO (12-19-2017) – The inlander West Hills Wolf Pack from Santee was coming off a spanking of Castle Park, 82-20, and were in to compete against a very good Coronado team that had just lost convincingly to Otay Ranch, 65-46.
West Hills started the blowout early as they led 32-12 at intermission.
The Wolf Pack would finish off the Islanders, 71-38, holding off Coronado’s offensive scoring to only 26 points in the 2nd half.
Senior guard CAM BARRY put up 15 points of the 32 in the first half of action, including 2 3-pointers in the 1st quarter of play.
Senior guard CHRIS SCHROEDER has been a part of the Pack defensive resurgence since being added to the starting line-up yesterday against Castle Park and tonight against the Islanders.
“A great win against a team that was 4-1 and the most complete win,” stated West Hills coach TIM BARRY. “I think to come out here and achieve this type of success will springboard us into many more wins like this.”
Junior guard MICHAEL TOTAH was outstanding the way he was engaged and distributed the ball.
Barry finished the night with an astounding 37 total points, including 5 3-pointers, with 6-of-7 from the line.
Up next for West Hills (4-4) is the Fallbrook Warriors (1-6) on the road at Fallbrook on Wed.,December 20th at 7:15 pm.
