CAJON DE ORO 16, RANCHO SAN DIEGO 1 – Cajon de Oro culminated their march from the loser’s bracket to prove to be the hottest team at the finish, crushing RSD in the District 41 championship game.
HUNTER CALL (2-for-4, three RBI) drove in two runs in the first inning as CDO took a 3-0 lead.
TAYLOR KARELA blasted a solo home run for The Dawgs to keep them in the game in the second inning.
Later, XAVIER FARNHAM clubbed a two-run home run to left field for CDO.
Cajon de Oro advances to the Section 7 Tournament at Spring Valley Little League. CDO will face SVLL in an opening game on Saturday.
CDO and SVLL are joined at the section tourney by powerful Eastlake frequent visitor Brawley.

MISSION TRAILS 10, LAKE MURRAY 7 – Mission Trails forced a final championship game with the win. The game will be played on Wednesday.
JACOB CONNOLLY and JUSTIN STEARNS both mashed two-run home runs in a five-run fifth, as Mission Trails rallied to stay alive.
Stearns went 3-for-4 with three RBI for MTLL.
Lake Murray’s MASON DIRKES hit a two-run double to drive in GAVIN GARCIA and BRANDON CASE to erase an early 1-0 deficit.
TRAVIS POLLACK then crushed another two-run two-bagger, scoring BRADEN BENNETT and Dirkes, as LMLL would eventually go up 6-3.

CAJON DE ORO 3, RANCHO SAN DIEGO 1 – Cajon de Oro got the performance it needed at precisely the right time to force a final championship game on Sunday at Fletcher Hills Little League.
TATE CLAPHAM struck out seven in a complete game effort.
RSD’s CODY BIGLEE hit a solo home run in the first inning for the lead.
JACK WORLEY knocked in CHARLIE LEDFORD for the go-ahead run in the fifth inning for CDO.

SINGING HILLS 9, FLETCHER HILLS 7 – At West Hills LL, JACOB BARNES had a RBI double, scoring JUSTIN HEPLER and JAKE JACKSON to give SHLL a 6-3 lead in the second and they went on to elimination FHLL.
RYAN GARVIN had two hits for SHL, including a two-run double in the fourth, scoring NOAH HOUGH and MATT PRIEST.
