2017 SAN DIEGO CHRISTIAN COLLEGE HAWKS BASEBALL

SANTA CLARITA (4-1-17) — The San Diego Christian College Hawks were victorious as they mastered The Master’s University Friday (Mar. 31) with a score of 7-4 to improve their record to 13-14 overall and 8-11 in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
VAHN BOZOIAN and STEVEN PICO both homered in the game. It was Bozoian’s eighth round-tripper and the second for Pico.
Bozoian’s homer came in the first inning, scoring JUSTIN HAWKINS, who had doubled down the right field line.
In the fourth inning, BROOKS FAGES hit an RBI single down the left field line to score JUSTIN SIDLEY. AUSTIN YEOMAN singled up the middle to score BOBBY MEAD. Hawkins followed with a single to left, advancing Pico to second and scoring Yeoman.
This was the first game of a three-game series, which will continue with a doubleheader on Saturday (Apr. 1) in Santa Clarita.
