SAN JOSE (3-18-17) — Former Christian High standout KYLE STOWERS is making waves for the Stanford Cardinal baseball team.
The two-time All-EastCountySports selection slugged a home run with two RBI against Kansas earlier this season on Feb. 24, and notched another RBI and a hit against Texas on March 4.

Stowers has had some rough stops in his freshman campaign, as he has seen his average dip to .100 (3-for-30) so far.

• Two-time first-team all-league
• Cal-Hi Sports all-state as a junior (2015)
•Max PrepsSmall School All-America as a junior (2015)
• 2016 San Diego Union-Tribune Student-Athlete of the Year
• Led team to two league championships and one state title
• Combined to hit .387, 54 RBI, 10 HR, .493 OBP as junior and senior
• Competed for Team USA at Tournament of Stars in Cary, N.C.
• Also played basketball and was second-team all-league as a senior
• Served as captain of baseball and basketball teams in 2015 and 2016
