EL CAJON (2-10-17) — A flurry of college scholarship commitments have come over the last few weeks, mostly in conjunction with the recent major signing day.
Christian High graduate JOEY MORONES, a hard-nosed running fullback, has committed to play football for the Spartans at Missouri Baptist University in Saint Louis, MO.
Grossmont High wide receiver DOMONIQUE GUEVARA has committed to play football at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA, where he will join his high school quarterback teammate HUNTER GAINES.
Grossmont High defensive back RAYMOND PERRAULT has committed to play football at Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS.
Steele Canyon’s safety COLTON LARCEVAL has committed to play football at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, ID. Larceval missed several games this season with a broken collarbone.
Mount Miguel defensive end ANTHONY YARBOROUGH has committed to Dixie State to play football in Saint George, Utah.
In addition, Granite Hills baseball center fielder SEAN ROSS has committed for a baseball scholarship to San Diego State University.
