EL CAJON (2-9-17) — There’s one thing about the Pacific Coast Athletic Coast Conference South – Grossmont can’t solve the riddle that is the San Diego City Knights.
The Griffins are 1-2 against San Diego City.
In three meetings the Griffins have caved in against the Knights twice, including an 82-67 loss in Wednesday’s (Feb. 8) game at Grossmont.
The game escalated into a heated battle, which calmed quickly after the Knights took control.
RONALD BLAIN led the charge for the Griffins with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and one block.
Blain laid down a monster throwdown in the game while meeting a City player at the rim that riled up both benches.
