SAN DIEGO (1-7-17) — In the first game back from the holidays, Christian was slow out of the chute in their Central League contest with Hoover on Friday (Jan. 6).
“We were rusty coming out of Christmas vacation,” noted Patriots coach TIFFANY GILES. “It was a physical game.”

The Patriots (8-3, 1-0 CL) regrouped in the second quarter however and led 22-16 at the half. The end of the third quarter found the Patriots leading 34-18.

Christian claimed a 49-25 victory thereafter.

BROOKE OWENS added 10 tallies, with 3 rebounds, an assist and 2 blocks.
HALEY ROBINSON, the Patriots’ leading rebounder, was huge on the boards with 17 caroms and 4 steals.
