LA MESA (11-04-16) — Helix Charter girls’ basketball coach PATRICK TABOR, 46, passed away on October 27.
Tabor graduated from University City High School in 1988 and played basketball at Grossmont College. He began coaching the Highlanders girls’ basketball team in 2011 and led them to the CIF Division II championship in 2014.
Tabor was selected the East County Coach of the Year in 2014 by EastCountySports.com.
