Monarchs Sweep Braves

SPRING VALLEY – Monte Vista won 3-0 over El Cajon Valley at the Monarchs’ gym Tuesday night, Sept. 27.

The Monarchs won by scores of 25-9, 25-18 and 25-5 for the sweep.

Sophomore Karren Johnson led El Cajon Valley with 14 digs.

The Valhalla Lady Norsemen volleyball team won Wednesday’s home non-conference match against Christian by a score of 3-0. Next up for Valhalla is the Fall Classic next weekend.

Hailey Wilson had eight kills, Mady Woods added seven kills and Maiya Lopez had six kills for Valhalla.

Kayla Bernie had 26 assists for Valhalla.
