EL CAJON (3-13-16) — Mother Nature has had an undefeated record for a long time, and Saturday (Mar. 12) was no different.
The Grossmont College Griffin (15-6-1, 4-2 PCAC) softball team was scheduled to play a doubleheader against Cypress College.
Well with the heavy rains that poured over the El Cajon diamond on Friday afternoon that doubleheader never got off the ground.
The two teams have agreed to reschedule the twin bill on Monday, March 21. First game will be at high Noon, with the second game two hours later.
Grossmont will have a chance to cut into the 2.5 game deficit they have to Palomar when the two meet at Grossmont on Wednesday (Mar. 16). First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
