DIVISION I
First Round—Wednesday’s Results
La Costa Canyon 3, Valhalla 0 – Valhalla went to the North County to take on the Mavericks, a team packed with 16 seniors. After giving up two own goals early, the Norsemen battled tough the rest of the game, only giving up a late goal when pushing up to try and make something happen.

First Round—Wednesday’s Results
West Hills 2, Vista 1 – The fifth-seeded Wolf Pack won in overtime to advance. West Hills led 1-0 at halftime. The Pack will travel to face fourth-seeded Del Norte on Feb. 27 at 5 p.m.Quarterfinals—Saturday

Helix 3, Clairemont 1 – At Helix, the eighth-seeded Highlanders’ Adrian Nieves scored for Helix (12-5-4), as the Highlanders scored three consecutive goals after falling behind to Clairemont (8-9-5).
