EL CAJON (12-11-15) — Christian High quarterback DAVID TODD JEREMIAH, Patriots running back ADRIAN PETTY and Grossmont receiver KHALEED DAVIS will head the San Diego Stars & Stripes All-Stars in Friday’s (Dec. 18) American Bowl vs. the Mexican National U19 squad.
The game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Otay Ranch High School.
Rounding out the EastCounty contingent scheduled to play for the Stars & Stripes are El Capitan running back-linebacker CHANCE COLSON, Grossmont defensive back ALEX LILLIARD, Mount Miguel JORDAN BUTTS and Christian kicker-punter KYLE THOMPSON.
Mexico is preparing to play in the 2016 U19 World Championship, which will include the defending champion U.S.
Coaches of the San Diego team include former college and NFL players Cree Morris, Akili Smith, Lynell Hamilton, John Carney, Burt Grossman and Martin Bayless.
