44th Grossmont College Invitational starts Friday

2015-16 GROSSMONT COLLEGE MEN’S BASKETBALL

EL CAJON (12-1-15) — Starting Friday (Dec. 4) and ending on Sunday (Dec. 6) the Grossmont College men’s basketball team will host the 44^th Grossmont College Invitational. The 8 team tournament will feature many returning teams and also a new team in Santa Barbara. Teams coming to play are College of the Desert, Cuesta, Cypress, West Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles Southwest. Local teams are San Diego City and the host Grossmont College.

The schedule for Friday is as follows 2, 4, 6, and 8 p.m. On Saturday the schedule will be the same as Friday with the championship semi-finals being the final two games of the day. The schedule for Sunday will be 1, 3, and 5 p.m. being the championship game.

Friday Schedule (Dec. 4^th)

Cuesta College (6-3) will take on San Diego City (7-3) at 2 p.m.

Cypress College (4-1) will take on West Los Angeles (4-2) at 4 p.m.

Santa Barbara (1-4) will take on host Grossmont College (3-3) at 6 p.m.

College of the Desert (2-5) will take on Los Angeles Southwest (0-5) at 8 p.m.
