Gold Division Semifinals
High Tech def. El Capitan 15-25, 25-15, 15-10 – El Capitan fell to High Tech SD despite 10 kills and 10 assists from Savannah Minshew, a junior. Kate Swanson had 14 digs for El Cap.
Gold Division
El Capitan def. Rancho Christian, 25-14, 23-25, 15-8 – Megan Gillette had seven kills and senior Jordan Ingramm had six winners, as El Cap won to advance int he tournament. Grace Burkett, Savannah Minshew and sophomore Bailey Berens each served four aces for the Vaqueros. Kate Swanson added 10 digs for El Capitan.
El Capitan def. Maranatha Christian, 25-15, 25-22 – Megan Gillette slammed home nine kills, while junior teammate Grace Burkett added six kills for El Cap. Jordan Ingramm served eight aces for the Vaqueros, while junior teammate Kate Swanson had eight digs. Savannah Minshew had 11 assists for the Vaqueros.
El Capitan def. Oceanside, 25-13, 25-13 – Megan Gillette had five kills for El Cap, while teammates Kaci Hoxsie and Jordan Ingramm aded four kills apiece. Kate Swanson and Ingramm both had three kills, while Swanson also had a team-high six digs. Savannah Minshew had 10 assists for the Vaqueros.
