Hawks Koury earns GSAC Defensive Player of Week

SANTEE (MON, SEP. 14) – Senior goalkeeper Katherine Koury was named GSAC Defensive Player of the Week with her record-setting performance last week.
Koury registered a school-record 20 saves against (RV) Marymount University last Monday. Koury then posted a clean sheet on Saturday against Soka tallying two saves.
The Hawks hold a 3-1-1 record on the season and will host Providence Christian Wednesday at 2:30 before traveling in their last non-conference game against Bethesda on Saturday.
SDC opens conference play Sept. 22 against No. 7 Westmont at the Santee Sportsplex at noon.
