EL CAJON (8-24-15) — Valhalla senior-to-be COLE HENDERSON has accepted a baseball scholarship to Nevada-Reno and will begin his college career with the Wolf Pack in the fall of 2016.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound third baseman-pitcher batted .370 (30-81) with 3 home runs, 4 doubles and 16 RBI as a junior.
Henderson also played basketball for the Norsemen, averaging 17.1 points per game and 9.2 rebounds a year ago. He also nailed 51 three-pointers.
